Vintage remodeling

I've discovered Riki Schumacher's blog, and have been going through picture of some of her work. I was really inspired by it, and I thought I'd try my hand at something similar with what I had. 

I do like how they turned out. I forgot to take any pictures of my party, but it went over really well, and I got some spending money for our trip - we leave for California today. Gonna try to document! :)

The Lair

The kind ladies at my church really like my jewelry (I do lots of beady things), and have asked me to do a show for them. It's scheduled for the 14th, and I've pulled out all my supplies to try and put together some new things to show. Here's what the dining room table looks like at the moment:

And that's not even everything - there are some boxes on the side that you can't see. The big cardboard box is full of old vintage pieces that my mom and I use for various things. And the box on top of that is full of buttons. I make necklaces out of those (I'll show you sometime). And the rest is beads and findings. Here are some of the things I made the last couple days.

Hi, world! :D So... I think I do some cool things, and I think that maybe some of you will think so too. Namely, I make stuff. All kinds. I like to dabble in many areas.
